Our work is driven by core values of learning, excellence, audacity, autonomy, and commitment. We look forward to proudly celebrating our 30th anniversary in June 2026.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Position Summary<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reporting to the President of the Board of Directors and working in close collaboration with the Artistic Director, the incumbent leads the administrative and philanthropic functions of the organization. This role plays a central part in ensuring sound financial and administrative management, maintaining strong relationships with partners and funders, and supporting internal committees  <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities<\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Administrative and Financial Management<\/strong> : Manage budgets, oversee accounting (QuickBooks), prepare documentation for financial statements, and ensure legal and contractual compliance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fund Development and Philanthropy <\/strong>: Contribute to grant applications (English\/French), prepare reports for funders, and support fundraising initiatives and donor database management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Planning and Events<\/strong> : Develop the annual action plan, operationalize internal policies (Law 25, etc.), and contribute to special initiatives like tours and partnerships.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Office Management <\/strong>: Manage digital tools\/IT applications, coordinate with external suppliers, and oversee document management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualifications and Competencies<\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>University degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interest in orchestral music and experience in the cultural sector.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bilingual proficiency in French and English (spoken and written).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency with QuickBooks, Google Drive, and Zeffy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong organizational skills, financial management knowledge, and event coordination experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Working Conditions<\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Status<\/strong> : Salaried or contract position (hourly), 21 hours per week.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Salary <\/strong>: $27 to $30 per hour, depending on experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Location<\/strong> : Remote work (home-based) with occasional Saturday presence for rehearsals and performances.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Start Date<\/strong> : Mid-August, with availability in June for knowledge transfer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Dates<\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Application Period<\/strong> : April 27 to May 15, 2026 to <a href=\"mailto:stella.riggi@ojmr.ca\">stella.riggi@ojmr.ca<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Interviews<\/strong> : May 19 to May 22.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Offers<\/strong> : Late May.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>To view the full job profile in PDF format, please click the link below:<\/strong> <sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ojmr.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/2026-Profil-du-poste-Direction-administrative-et-philanthopie.pdf\" type=\"attachment\" id=\"12610\">Download the Position Profile &#8211;
