IN MEMORIAM
The Mount Royal Youth Orchestra wishes to acknowledge the sudden passing of Robert Trempe, a member of the organization’s Board of Directors since the fall of 2024.
Retired from the public service, where he held deputy ministerial positions in several ministries, he has since been heavily involved in cultural life. He has shared his expertise with several cultural organizations in management and philanthropy.
Mr. Trempe was central to the OJMR’s strategic planning and the creation of the 30th anniversary gala, which will take place in June 2026.
“His time was brief but truly meaningful for us. He left an indelible mark that will enable the Orchestra and its musicians to achieve even greater things in the future.
